My journey of exploration

I am on a journey of self-discovery, called life.
Daily i see new things about myself, good and bad
I embrace myself as i learn each day, because this is me
I endeavour to improve on the good and to change the bad
I'm learning not to take myself too seriously
As this journey is made up of many parts
Each one not an end in itself,but part of the whole
So i laugh at my mistakes, and promise myself
To look out next time and jump over the hurdles.
I'm learning to appreciate the beauty around me
Be it the sunrise or sunset, flowers on a spring day
Or raindrops on a stormy night
I watch the clouds form and see the various shapes
A bear with its cubs, or the face of a man
And I marvel at God's creactivity revealed
In all of His marvelous works.
I'm not afraid of tomorrow because i know
I'm not alone on this journey, the Master, the Creator
The one who created me, my Father is with me all the way
I walk this journey with the confidence that
Whatever comes my way, He is ready for it, and so I'm ready
Because He is in me and I am in Him
Christ in me, the hope of glory.
